Asia Long Drive Championship was founded in October 2021 by ASIA LONG DRIVE ASSOCIATION(“ALDA“) which is the governing body of Long Drive sports in Asia.
As an initiative of actively competing Asian Long Drive professionals, the ALDA is the aiming to promote the game of the long drive sport in Asia and beyond.
The purpose of this competition is promotion and exercise of the Long Drive sport in Asia and to reorganize and professionalize the sport, to establish a standardized operational ruling and ranking system and to let the Long Drive sport grow in Asia & internationally, with the ultimate goal to work it up to an Olympic discipline.
The first competition was supported by Long Drive Japan, Korea Long Drive Association, IGANZ. New Zealand Long Drive, Long Drive China. Top players from above countries plus Thailand and Australia shall join.
ALDA followed the rules & regulations of World Long Drive Association which means to standardized the game with international long drive organizations.
